Recently there has been an outbreak of avian flu in many countries. Most, if not all, governments of these countries tackle their problems by killing birds massively.
Perhaps it is not important whether the massive killing is an effective way of dealing with the issue. What is important is whether they have the right to do so.
Does a human life weighs more than that of a bird? If a human being gives a positive answer, does it make sense?
The fact now is that human beings are more powerful and stronger than bird beings. Since avian flu causes trouble to them, they can, at their will, do whatever they want, including brutally killing other beings. On the other hand, if human beings infect birds, they just do nothing, especially due to the fact that they know birds can do nothing about it.
But will this perpetuate for a very long period of time? Certainly not. Birds, one of the numerous beings of the universe, will acquire enough intelligence and strength to reverse the situation sooner or later.
